Frequently Asked Questions

All you need to know before booking your class with us!

Aerial Hoop

  • What’s involved and how long do they last?

Classes are 1 hour long. We start with a 10-12 minute warm up, 45 minutes on the hoop including strength training, moves and combinations. We spend 5 minutes at the end of class cooling down and stretching.

  • Do I need to be strong and flexible to start? What if I have no upper body strength?

Then this is exactly what you need! These classes are designed to improve and work on your fitness and strength, not to have it there in the first place. We are here to help you improve your strength and get you having fun whilst doing it!

  • Is there a weight limit?

Not at all, hoop is for all ages, shapes and sizes. As long as you are physically well to engage in exercise, the only limit will be your own determination.

  • What do I wear? Do I need to bring anything?

It is better to wear well fitted clothing. Cotton leggings are best as they will provide the protection your skin needs as well as some grip. You will need to ensure all jewellery is removed for class. We recommend not moisturising your hands for 24 hours before the class to ensure that you are able to grip on the hoop. We recommend you bring your own liquid chalk to help with grip on the hoop and your own exercise/yoga mat.

Covid and Safety

  • What are the Covid and safety procedures?
  1. We advise students to wear face coverings on entering the studio and leaving the studio. During exercise you do not need to wear a mask but if you wish to, and it is safe for you to do so, then you can.
  2. Please await the doors to be opened before trying to enter as we have to ensure the studio has been cleaned from any prior classes.
  3. Arrive on time, as the doors will be locked. Late arrivals will not be allowed to participate due to safety reasons.
  4. On entry please sanitise your hands and take your own clean cloth and alcohol spray, these will be used to clean the equipment in-between use in the class. There will likely be two of you sharing a piece of equipment.
  5. Please bring your own yoga/exercise mat
  6. Please do not bring unnecessary belongings
  7. Do NOT attend the studio if you are unwell.
